Michael Mathews

Mr. Matthews has more than 25 years experience in development and acquisition of land, residential, office and multi-family projects throughout the south and southwest. He has directed the overall development process, including concept, entitlement, architectural, planning, design and engineering, contract negotiation and administration and project management for over $700 million in completed commercial and residential development projects in Texas, Colorado, Florida, Nevada and Oklahoma. Mr. Matthews has been directly responsible for the development of mid- and high-rise office, mid-rise residential, commercial and residential land, and luxury high-density residential projects. His experience encompasses leasing, sales, construction, strategic master planning, project management and financial analysis for more than $2 billion in transactions representing over 7 million square feet with a successful track record of completing difficult projects on time and on budget.

Oved Ovadia

Mr. Ovadia has 26 years of commercial real estate development and construction management experience, with an emphasis on specialized apartment buildings and senior citizen housing. His portfolio includes the completion of more than $50 Million in residential and commercial projects. As a licensed general contractor, Mr. Ovadia's primary responsibilities with Lajolla include liaising and coordinating with accredited and institutional investors, real estate developers and bankers, as well as city and county officials for approval, funding and coordination of projects. In addition, he is responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered on time and under budget while preserving the integrity and quality of each project.

Prior to joining Lajolla, Mr. Ovadia owned and operated a successful construction firm under the name, Oved Development Company, located in Tel Aviv, Israel. His most recent projects include a 45,000 square foot shopping center in W. Palm Beach, Florida, as well as a 60-unit senior-living apartment building and a 27-unit condominium both located in Tarzana, California.

For the past three years Mr. Ovadia has been actively involved in pioneering the development of alternative fuels and improving the environment. He has spearheaded a program to convert waste into clean energy as a substitute to fossil fuels to protect the environment through reduced emissions. Mr. Ovadia utilizes a method known as Pyrolysis, (the recovery of chemically stored energy) resulting in environmentally neutral ash and usable energy in the form of heat and electricity as end products. Mr. Ovadia recognizes the need for a comprehensive energy solution that promotes conservation and efficiency in order to meet energy needs and reduce waste sites. Mr. Ovadia actively promotes and encourages builders, architects and consumers to consider green energy.
